Who should attend?
Working safely is for staff at any level of the organisation, in any sector. The course provides an insight in to the essentials of health and safety so that delegates gain an understanding of why they must "work safely"
What you will learn
Working safely is designed to give the delegate an understanding of what they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their day to day working environment. The course covers all the main health and safety related issues.

- The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Risk Assessment
- Accident Investigation and Prevention
- Machinery Safety
- Display screen equipment
- Ergonomics
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Manual Handling
Course duration
The course is delivered over one day totalling 8hrs including coffee breaks. The course is either held on client’s premises, and delivered specifically for their employees or, delivered at Bridge Safety and Training premises.
Assessment and certification
Assessment is a combination of practical and written assessment. Upon successful completion delegates can choose to receive either an IOSH Working Safely certificate or an IOSH Passport.
