Level 2 Health and Safety in the Workplace - 1 Day
The Ofqual Level 2 in Health and Safety in the Workplace is a qualification aimed at all employees. The course is designed to ensure that all employees are aware of their own safety and the safety of customers, contractors and the public.
Who should attend?
The qualification is intended for candidates already in workplaces and those who are preparing to start or return to work. It is also very useful for young persons to raise their ability to identify and understand hazards when preparing for work experience and into employment
What you will learn
Candidates gaining this qualification will know that health and safety is the responsibility of everyone within a business, its contractors, visitors and suppliers. Its syllabus areas are regarded by the Health and Safety Executive as being important to maintaining safe working procedures in the workplace.

Course duration
The course is delivered over one day totalling 8hrs including coffee breaks. The course is either held on client’s premises, and delivered specifically for their employees or, delivered at Bridge Safety and Training premises.
Assessment and certification
Assessment is in the form of a 30 question multiple-choice examination. Successful candidates must achieve a score of at least 20/30. Upon successful completion candidates are awarded with certification.
